Building for emergency training

The complex is a specific design requested for emergency units training with easily replaceable doors and windows, variable partition walls, that would allow fast setting of requested layout.

Set of three buildings (15 x 15 m two story cast-in RC concrete building with RC roof and intermediate floor made of steel bridges and nets, 8 x 10 m single story connecting tract and 15 x 8 m five story cast-in RC building).

The complex is a specific design requested for emergency units training with easily replaceable doors and windows, variable partition walls, that would allow fast setting of requested layout.

The building is also equipped with staircase tower, that allows access to the roof of the highest building.

For training purposes each floor of this building simulates different type of use. First floor simulates shopping unit, second floor flats, third floor hotel, fourth floor offices and fifth floor the staircase tower.

The building is from one side equipped by fire ladders and anchorage points on the roof, that would allow abseiling of emergency units. There is also circular staircase in one of the floors, different types of balconies and steel structure, that imitates a helicopter. The intermediate floor in the lower building with steel bridges and nets allows visual control of applied emergency processes.

All the loadbearing structures are supported by foundation RC slab. The main loadbearing structures are rectangular RC columns, RC walls and RC slabs and beams. Requested fire resistance of loadbearing structures is REI 60.
