Graitec invests in employee well-being through our Give Day. We believe that building a sustainable tomorrow begins in our communities. We offer all of our team members one full, paid working day to volunteer and give back to the non-profit organization of their choice.
Since starting the program, our global team has supported fundraisers to fight against leukemia in Italy, help families in need access organic foods in Canada, fund and coach a sustainable start-up in Africa, and more.
By setting an annual goal of 1000 volunteer hours across the company, we make sustainable support for our communities part of our mission.
Graitec proudly supports Habitat for Humanity, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to building safe, affordable housing for families in need.
Through our partnership with Habitat for Humanity, we actively contribute to their mission of creating a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Graitec and SEVEN2’s €240,000 donation via the APAX Philanthropy Fund facilitated a complete renovation of the building’s structure, constructing social housing units, and creating jobs. Graitec will also provide licenses for its flagship software to enable Habitat for Humanity teams to leverage the power of BIM. Founded in 1999, The Valaska Centre aids single mothers, the long-term unemployed, people with disabilities, and socially disadvantaged populations by offering social housing and employment opportunities.
Graitec is proud to partner with La Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine to sponsor the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture. We believe that sustainability is the future of the built environment and we are dedicated to taking action to support green initiatives without compromising on iconic design.
Since 2006, the award annually recognizes five architects making strides in sustainability to enhance the way we build our future. The Global Award for Sustainable Architecture highlights the best of sustainable architecture and inspires future innovation. By joining the award’s supporters such as Caisse des Dépôts and UNESCO, Graitec recognizes the impact of celebrating changemakers within sustainable architecture to grow the industry while supporting the interests of our planet.
As part of Graitec’s corporate social responsibility charter, we launched the Graitec Sustainable Partnership Program to influence a more eco-friendly perspective within our sphere of influence. We choose to work with suppliers, partners, and clients who care as much about human rights, labor, environmental, and anti-corruption concerns as we do.
By associating with companies that have the same values, Graitec helps to ensure a sustainable supply chain and continue to show the world how we can live and work sustainably.
