W H A T I T I S
Graitec Assistant helps AECO professionals move from information to action inside the tools they already use, while keeping trusted engineering engines and professional validation in control.
It supports people directly in their workflow: answering questions, reading attached files, extracting data from tables, and preparing information that can be reused inside Graitec applications.

The Assistant plugs into key Graitec solutions so users get AI support exactly where the work happens. No separate app, no context switching.
Interpret your model in real time, apply loads, explain calculation results, suggest optimized design options, reduce manual steps, and accelerate engineering decisions.
Speed up steel detailing tasks, extract data from project documents, and find the right answer without leaving the model.

Interrogate Revit models in plain language and reuse your firm’s BIM standards across projects.

Assistance on detailing and documentation tasks, directly inside CADKON.

Generate panel templates from a wall schedule or spec file, mapping stud spacing, track sizes, and opening configurations into ready-to-use templates.

Two real workflows inside Advance Design, each carried out from a single natural-language prompt.
| Point the Assistant at an equipment spreadsheet and describe what you need in plain language. It reads the file, finds the right equipment, converts each mass to a force, distributes it across the supporting beams you name, creates a dedicated load case, and applies the point loads in the right places. A whole series of actions from a single sentence. | 00:0000:00 |
| BEFORE Open the spreadsheet, find each item, convert mass to force by hand, work out the share per beam, create the load case, then place every point load one by one. |
AFTER One sentence. The Assistant reads the file, calculates the forces, creates the load case, and applies all the point loads on the beams you specified. |
Read your results and run the calculation, in one prompt
00:0000:00 |
Ask the Assistant to check maximum displacement against an H/500 serviceability limit. It reads the structure height straight from your model, works out the allowable limit, pulls the maximum displacement for every wind load case, calculates the ratio for each, flags the governing case, and lays it all out in a clean, shareable table. All inside Advance Design, with the engineer in control. |
| BEFORE Open each wind load case on its own, read off the maximum displacement, work out H/500 by hand, then calculate the ratio for every case and build the table yourself. |
AFTER One prompt. The Assistant reads the model, computes the limit, checks every wind case, identifies the governing one, and prints a ready-to-share table in seconds. |
| Attach a hand sketch of the panel and the Assistant drafts the template from it, reading the stud and track types and the spacing. When a stud family is not loaded, it follows your usual practice, falls back to your standard version, and creates the template. It works the way your team already works. | 00:0000:00 |
| BEFORE Interpret the sketch yourself, choose the families and spacing, and build the template by hand, checking which families are actually loaded. |
AFTER One prompt and a sketch. The Assistant drafts the template, handles the missing family the way you would, and creates it. |

Your projects cross borders, and so does your team. The Assistant understands and responds in multiple languages, so engineers, detailers, and designers can ask questions and read results in the language they work in. One assistant, every office.
Languages shown on the page: English, Français, Deutsch, Español, Italiano, Polski, Čeština, Română, and more.

AI you can trust on real projects means clear answers on where your data goes and who can access it.
The Assistant uses cloud AI services for intelligence and knowledge retrieval. A connection is required, and it does not run offline.
Project data is used to answer your prompts and is not used to train public AI models.
Access is managed centrally in Graitec Advantage, so administrators control who can use the Assistant.
Details to be added.

F A Qs
No. The Assistant relies on cloud AI services for intelligence and knowledge retrieval, so a connection is required to use it.
No. Your project data is used to answer your prompts and is not used to train public AI models.
The Assistant can work with common document and image attachments, including Word, Excel, PDF and TXT files.
Yes. The Assistant can extract and interpret tables, helping transform document-based information into structured data.
Yes. The Assistant is designed to interact with registered product tools and skills, enabling workflow execution rather than only answering questions.
Graitec Assistant is being integrated across selected Graitec products, including Advance Design, Graitec STEEL, Ideate, and CADKON, depending on rollout timing and availability.
Access is limited to Named Users, and in some cases availability may also depend on beta participation, selected customer programs, and product availability.
The Assistant uses a simple, pre-paid token model. A standard text prompt costs one token, while richer prompts such as image generation or visual interpretation cost more. Tokens are purchased upfront, so there are no surprise end-of-month charges.
Selected subscriptions may include an initial number of tokens. Availability depends on the product and subscription type.
Yes. Additional token packs can be purchased as top-ups.
Token packs are assigned to a single Named User and cannot be split across multiple users. They can, however, be reassigned to a new user.
Token balances can be viewed in Graitec Advantage, including acquired, consumed, remaining, assigned, and unassigned tokens.
If a user does not have enough remaining tokens for an AI action, the software notifies them that additional tokens are required.
