The project is a private villa with two basement levels and six superstructure levels. The building’s footprint is approximately 17m by 16m. The two basements include a swimming pool and technical rooms.  The ground floor is an open parking area and all other floors contain the living quarters. The villa is located in a heavily urbanised area with the Boulevard Rainier III on the western boundary and the high retaining wall of the Chemin de la Turbie on the eastern boundary. A neighbouring building on the northern boundary is located approximately one metre from the property line. The structure is made of reinforced concrete with a hybrid system of column/beam and wall reinforcement. The main characteristics of the structure are as follows:

-The street facade visually highlights the column/beam construction system.  The aim is to have as little impact as possible on this architectural design.

-The ground floor level has only columns, it is a transparent level in the sense of the bracing analysis. It therefore supports the whole building and the high floor is responsible for transferring a large part of the weight of the building to the infrastructure.

-The first basement level contains the swimming pool and is also a very open level with little intermediate support other than the perimeter supports.

-All the openings in the façade of the superstructure are provided at full height.
