Francis Guillemard – founder
Trained as a structural engineer, he revolutionized the building industry by inventing innovative software solutions for the design, analysis, and simulation of building structures. He was the driving force behind the creation of Advance Design (formerly known as Effel), a groundbreaking tool that significantly reshaped the work of engineering firms.
Since founding GRAITEC in 1986, he has led the company to success through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. He also served as a professor at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris, where he held the Chair of Building and Public Works.
